He is survived by: his wife Patsy Barnett Franklin; his children, James Tyler Franklin of Seaford, Adam Mitchell Franklin of Cleveland, Daniel Alexander Franklin of Roswell, Georgia and Laura Beth Franklin of Jonesborough, Tennessee.; and his siblings, Kim Whiston, Lori Whitson (Jeff), Cheri Jones and Andy Franklin.
