It is with sadness that the passing of Willard Willis (Jonesborough, Tennessee) is shared. Willard, born on February 27, 1952, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John David and Pearl Edwards Willis; and his siblings, David and Brenda. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane McNalley Willis; his children, Aaron Wallace and Ashley Ponce (Manuel); his grandchildren, Kendra Wallace of Unicoi, Katelyn Wallace of Unicoi, Kelsey Wallace of Unicoi, Peyton Wallace of Unicoi, Noah Ponce of Erwin and Briley Ponce of Erwin; his great grandchildren, Kelby, Kjay and Violet; and his siblings, Ernest Willis, Linda Hammonds and Lisa Willis. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home (418 W College St, Jonesborough, TN 37659). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Memory Gardens (3033 S Roan St, Johnson City, TN 37601).
