With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gail Brown of Kenton, Tennessee, born in Dyersburg, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024 at the age of 67. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jerry Smyth and Peggy Laverne Smyth (Hood); and her brother Larry Smyth. She is survived by : her husband Jeff Brown of Kenton; her children, Ricky Pugh (Jessica) of Union City, Jon Johnson of Dyersburg, Madison Dunn (Zach) of Mayfield and Savanna Carr (Matthew) of Water Valley, Kentucky; and her siblings, Suzie Stover of Obion, Debbie Maddox (David) of Union City and Butch Smyth (Reba) of Atkins, Arkansas. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Samburg Assembly of God (253 Reelfoot Ave, Hornbeak, TN 38232). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
