With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Jackson Allen of Kenton, Tennessee, born in Obion, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Leon Allen and Ruby Phillips Allen; and his siblings, Jane Sutton, Billy, Robert, Ray and Frank Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jane Finch Allen; his children, Jackie Lynn Allen Freeman (Kerry) and Robert Michael Allen (Lori); his grandchildren, Zach Freeman (Kellie), Mike Freeman (Brandi), Mitch Allen and Julie Allen Chumley (Tate); his great grandchildren, Landon, Lucas and Colt Freeman; and his siblings, Betty Sue Turtle and Thomas'Butch'Allen.
