He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Volkman and Nellie O'Neale Volkman; his wife Linda Volkman; and his sister Janet Sloan. He is survived by: his children, Sherry L. Horne (Hal), Teresa C. Thompson (Scott), Lisa C. Tolley, Albert E. Volkman, Jr. (Sarah) and Michael J. Volkman (Jaclyn); and his sister Emma "Betty" Green. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
