She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Cox and Edith Cox; her husband Larry Bishop Sr.; her sister Kay; her brother-in-law James Speck; her brother Tom; her sister-in-law Vickie Cox; her nephew Wayne Cox; and her great-nephew Joseph Cox.
She is survived by: her son Larry Bishop Jr.; her daughter-in-law Kim; her granddaughter Grace Ann; and her sister Sylvia Ferguson (Russell).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Carter-Trent Funeral Home (520 Watauga St, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's charity of your choice and/or West Colonial Hills Baptist Church.
