We announce the death of Allen Carroll Cross of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on June 12, 2026, at the age of 86. Allen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Giles Dickenson Cross and Mary June Wolfe Cross; his sister Helyn Athons; and his sister-in-law Darlene Cross. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Cross; his son Allen Carroll Cross, Jr. (Robin); his grandchildren, Tabatha Adkins (Jonathan) and Kenton Malone; his brothers, Harry Cross and Roger Cross; and his brother-in-law Alvis Adkins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
