She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Barrett; her grandson Keytin Cook; and her parents, Eva Lee Smith and Frank Smith. She is survived by: her children, Shannon Copas, Vickie Copas, Misti Barrett Clawson (David) and Joseph Barrett (Kimbra); her grandchildren, Jayce Barrett, Ethan Hall, Mason Hall, Riley Kettinger, Daniel Barrett, Caden Barrett and Anthony Clawson; and her siblings, Joann Thompson, Ronald Smith, Larry Smith, Gary Smith, Carol Wayne Smith and Ricky Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport to assist with funeral expenses.
