We announce the death of Bernice Bishop Chapman of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Bishop and Louise Bishop; her husband George Chapman; her son Bennett Avery Chapman; and her grandson Aaron Starnes.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Chapman, Rita Chapman Newell and Trina Chapman Rasnake; her grandchildren, Landon Starnes, Dustin Starnes, Chelsea Newell, Daniel Chapman (Sierra), Alex Christian (Alexis), Samantha Chapman, Austin Chapman and David Chapman; her great grandchildren, Noah, Sawyer, Emmitt, Declan, Weston, Amelia and Osiris; and her siblings, Davey Bishop (Jane) and Marjorie White. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.
