It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Mathieson (Kingsport, Tennessee), born in Abilene, Texas, who passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Eastis and Ethel Eastis (McDonald); her sisters, Maxine Hanks (Horaace) and Carol Lloyd Wilkerson (Paul); and her husband Charles Bennett Mathieson.
She is survived by: her brothers, Billy Jean Tear (Roy) and Bobby Sue Chapman (Harold); her daughter Irene Wolfe (David) of Bellevue, NE; her grandchildren, Debbie Cooper (Todd) of Omaha, NE and Brian Wolfe (Laura) of Denver Colorado; and her great grandchildren, Jack Cooper, Will Cooper, Sam Cooper, Isabella Wolfe and Sloan Wolfe.
A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the East Lawn Memorial Park (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664).
