Betty Ruth Sharp Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on July 10, 2022, at the age of 75, Betty Ruth Sharp of Kingsport, Tennessee, born in Jellico, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Will Sharp and Nola Marcina Sharp (Lay). She is survived by: her close friend Dr. Don Stanfill; her brother Billy Wayne Sharp (Jennie Sharp) of Eatonton, Georgia; her niece Stephanie Sharp Hamilton (Todd Hamilton) of Suwanee; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lindsay Hamilton and William Hamilton; her nephew Wayne Sharp (Tammy Sharp) of Belton; her great-nephew Michael Sharp; her great-nieces, Sarah Sharp and Anna Grace Gainey; her caregivers, Annett Blackman, Janet Gamble and Lisa Poore; Anna Slaughter, Abigail Slaughter and Alison Slaughter. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Church Hill.
