She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Peters and Ruth Peters; her former husband Arthur Lee Leonard; her siblings, Chris Hensley, Bell Leonard, Kadie Castle, Dick Peters, Roger Peters, Ronnie Peters, Billy Joe Peters and Donnie Lee Peters; and her brother-in-law G. T. Leonard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jamie McNutt, Heather Ball and Shannon; her stepson Stephen Self (Emily); her granddaughters, Savannah McNutt, Kelsey Wells (C. J.), Mariah Mullins (Cameron) and Bailee Ball; her great grandchildren, Launa Hurd, Jace, Joey Mullins, Caden, Kolby Wells, Moses and Elliot Self; her sister Pat Hughes (Richard); her siblings-in-law, Betty Peters and Clint Hensley; and her close friend Preacher Eddie Zimmerman (Pat). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664).
