He was predeceased by: his wife Deloris G Conant; his parents, Clinton V Conant and Bobbie Barton Conant; and his siblings, Elmer Brown, Ralph Conant, Ray Conant, Curtis Conant, Johnetta Boyd, Louise Davis, Ruby Clark and Ella Ruth Simmons.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Dyer (Eddie) and Tony Conant; his brothers, Leo Conant (Stella) and Lloyd Conant; and his sister-in-law Margorie Harris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the East Lawn Funeral Home (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East Lawn Memorial Park (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664).
