He was predeceased by: his father James Thomas; and his siblings, J. T. Edwards, Betty Webb, Mariola Edwards, Phyllis Barnes and Rosalie Price.

He is survived by: the mother of his children Carol Edwards; his sons, Anthony Edwards (Cindy), Tim Edwards (Marsha) and Mark Edwards (Sandy); his grandchildren, Jared Edwards and Jordan Edwards (Gracie); and his great grandchild Archie Ray Edwards. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
