With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Blanard Collins of Kingsport, Tennessee, born in Nickelsville, Virginia, who passed away on May 28, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Collins; and his siblings, Willie Collins, Goldie Horn, Carl Collins, Hughie Collins, Ralph Collins and Lucille Peters.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Faye Crawley Collins; his children, Cristal Faye Gibson (Jason Ray) and Darrell Eugene Collins; his grandchildren, Brooke Gibson and Preston Gibson (Megan); his great grandchild Zoey Gibson; and his siblings, Virginia Lambert, Bonnie Harris and James Collins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
