He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Brooks and Chloe Hayes Brooks; and his sister Maude Elizabeth Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Austin Brooks; his sons, Bobby Brooks, Jr. (Julie) of Kingsport and Donovan Brooks (Eve-Marie) of Yorba Linda, CA; his granddaughter Aria Brooks; his sister Sue Davenport; and the mother of his children Clara Brooks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West View Missionary Baptist Church.
