He is survived by: his wife Becky Bellamy Smith; his sons, Matthew Alan Smith (Wendy), Nathan Benjamin Smith and Nathaniel Eli Hensley (Polly); his sister Cathy Smith; his grandchildren, Logan, Reagan, Braiden, Trae (Taylor), Samantha, Harlie (Brandon), Rachel, Raven, Lucy, Jack, Cash, Katie and Telucia; his great grandchildren, Ja'Naiyah and Ella Kate; and his nephew Jason Dougherty.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or the Jericho Shrine Temple in Bob's honor.
