It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Carter Bishop (Kingsport, Tennessee), who passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Carter and Hazel Lark Carter; her husband Eddie L. Bishop; and her siblings, Tony Carter, Jerry and Debbie Clark.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Lawson (Mike) of South Carolina, Ricky Bishop (Cindy) of Bristol, VA and Jeff Bishop (April) of Gate City, VA; her grandchildren, Madeline, Marley, Nate and Wrett; and her siblings, Wayne Carter (Jennifer), David Carter, Ronnie Carter (Sue) and Jean Kaylor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
