With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charlie Dean of Kingsport, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Charlie left this world on June 12, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dean and Abbie Coomer Dean; and his daughters, Machelle Anderson and Rosetta Ramey. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Church (Daniel) and John Nelson; his siblings, Elsie Hall, Reba Marshall (Billy), Myrtle Hubbard, Nannie Dotson, James Dean (Beverly) and Jay Dean; and his grandchildren, Tiffany, Diamond Chelsea, Steven, Asia, Charlie, Katie, Marie, Brooklyn, Emma, Elijah and Timothy. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
It would please the family that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Black Lung Association.
