It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Lee Wright of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Lazenby and Thelma Lazenby; her husband John "Bobby" Wright; and her son Dwight Gentry. She is survived by: her daughter Tina Hinkle; her grandchildren, Brittney Hoffman, Calvin "Tyler" Hinkle and Steven Hinkle; her great grandchildren, Brackston and Piper Riness; her sisters, Rose Zella Wright, Donna Pack, Shirley Bell and Delilah Beckum (Don); and her daughter-in-law Tammy Kennedy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
