He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Mae Derreck and Barney Vincent Taylor; his brothers, Roy, Earl and Bud Taylor; and his grandchildren, Trinity Taylor and Brandy Mullins.

He is survived by: his significant other Dorris "Irene" Taylor; his daughter Patricia Kilgore; his sister Edith Skeens; his great grandchildren, MacKenzie Sellers, Hope Ford and Faith Ford; and his great great grandchildren, Trinity Miller, Elsie Ressler and Peyton Miller. He is also survived by many extended family members and special friends.
