He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Willis and Lora McMillan Willis; and his siblings, Paul Willis, Carl Willis, Robert Willis, Janice Wells, Drema Boyd and Billie Steffie.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sally Price and Johnny Willis (Linda); his children, Gary Willis, Coleman Dan Willis, Jr. (Stephanie), Lori Dockery and JoAnn Peters (Steve); his grandson Scott Willis (Amethyst); and the mother of his children Wilma Willis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
