Daniel Ball Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Ball of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Ball and Nannie Hale Ball; his former wife Betty Mann Ball; his wife Diane Soltess Ball; his son Jeff Ball; and his sisters, Mary Lynn Ball, Rose Marie Spriggs (Johnny), Martha Buckner and Margaret Ball.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Ball II (Diana), David Ball, Michael Ball (Amy) and Fred Ball (Sara); his grandchildren, Daniel Ball III, Chris Ball (Lisette) and Elizabeth Ball (Emily); and his sisters, Gail Rich (Keith) and Barbara Forsyth. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
