He was predeceased by: his father Arville Williams,; his sons, Daniel L. Williams, Jr. and Brandon "Bo" Williams; and his siblings, Arville Williams, Jr. and Nancy Norris.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Monroe Williams; his stepdaughter Kim Davidson; and his sisters, Judy Wynn, Martha Godsey, Carol Davenport, Donna Williamson and Geraldine Mcavoy.
