It is with sadness that the passing of Darsula Ferrell of Kingsport, Tennessee is shared. Darsula, born on April 26, 1943, passed away on August 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Parsons and Marie Parsons; her husband Jimmie Neal Ferrell; her grandsons, Kurtis David Mann and Scott Cooper McReynolds; her brother Doyle Gilliam; and her close friend Rebecca Garber.
She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Mann (Kurt), Debbie Whetsel (Mark) and Denise McReynolds (Jeff); her grandchildren, Krista Mann, Kara Nielsen (Kyle), Kevin Mann (Katie), Matt Whetsel (Jodie), Aaron Whetsel (Bri), Brandon Whetsel (Katie) of Daniel and Tanner McReynolds; and her great grandchildren, Rebekah, Peter, Nathan, Valerie Mann, Sophia, Katy, Millie and Walker Whetsel.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunnyside Baptist Church (406 Cooks Valley Rd, Kingsport, TN 37664). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Hill Memorial Park (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660).
