He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Mary Pearl Williams Hyder; his wife Pansy Barry; and his siblings, Maxie Ipsen, Reta Painter, Lucille, Chapman, Grace Rowe, June Hyder, Dorothy, Sherfey, Mary Wampler, Elizabeth, Rowan, Beryl, Rex and Harry Hyder.
He is survived by: his children, Martha Hyder Hall (David), Daryl Hyder, Jr. (Rebecca), Mary Hyder (Kevin) and Rebecca Smith; his grandchildren, Summer Johnson, Seth Hyder, Brett Hyder, Brittany Manning, Paul Smith and Raelyn Hyder; and his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Perrigan, Joseph Perrigan, Hanna Hayes and Sam Perrigan. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
