He was predeceased by: his father Fred Coats; and his wife Brenda Reedy Coats. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Coats and Dustin Coats; his grandchildren, Haley Deel (Hunter) and Jordan Coats (Hannah Gibson); his great grandchildren, Jaclyn, Nora and Willow; his sister-in-law Janice (Sam Snapp); his close friend Roger Wolfe; and his cousin Ralph Palmer. He is also survived by (Nan); several nieces, nephews and cousins.
