He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cole and Ada Johnson Cole. He is survived by: his wife Diana Godsey Cole; his son Tom Cole (Karen); his grandson Eli Cole; and his half-siblings, Brenda Crump and Stan Gottschalk (Rebecca). He is also survived by loving first cousins; seven stepchildren; several step grandchildren and several close friends.
