He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Barrett and Cecile Barrett (Simpson); and his siblings, Mary Arnold, Marie Barrett and Sissy.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Becky Biggs-Parker (Renee), Rodney Barrett (Becky), Billy Barrett (Kim) and Rebecca Rollins; his grandchildren, Justin Quillen (Blue), Heather McNutt (Sean), Jake Quillen, Hunter Barrett (Hannah), Wyatt Barrett (Avery), Jesse Rollins, Kenzie Rollins and Kenzie Hall (Waylon Coomer); his great grandchildren, River, Mason, Willow and Adeline; his brother Joe Barrett; his brother-in-law Joe Arnold; his niece Anita Goad; and his great-nephew Tim Mowell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home (1747 TN-93, Fall Branch, TN 37656). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at the Bowser Cemetery.
