He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Salyer and Viola Salyer (Stapleton); his son Danny Salyer; his brother Grover Salyer; and his nephew Zack Salyer.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Salyer; his children, Donnie Salyer (Susan), Randy Salyer (Renae) and Karen West (James); his grandchildren, Alisha Slagle, Amber Pritchard (Luke), Timmy Slagle, Jr. and Doug Davis (Morgan); and his niece Carrie Salyer. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
