She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Armstrong and Beryl Armstrong; her siblings, Nellie Armstrong, Delores Doty, Fawn Marion and Charlie Armstrong; her husband Carl Joyner; her son Freddie Joyner; her grandsons, Jeremy Joyner and Benjamin Hubble; her daughter Teresa; her son-in-law Danny Hubble; her granddaughter Jessica (Mike Dockery); her granddaughter-in-law Jennifer Hubble Brown (Jason Brown); her great grandchildren, Asher Hubble, Zeke Alley, Kendyl Alley, Karris Hubble, Kylie Dockery Holley (Bryant), Kaelin Brown, Brentley Dockery, Charlie Dockery, Kampbell Brown, Abram Brown and Amos Brown; her great great grandchildren, Madelyn Brown and Baylor Holley; her grandfather Matt Alley; her daughter-in-law Barbara Joyner Duncan (Michael); and her niece Sandra Bledsoe.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Wendy (Bryan Wesselman); her great grandchildren, Bailey and Brooke Wesselmann; Sandra Bledsoe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
