We are sad to announce that, on March 14, 2025, at the age of 92, Dorothy Dorr of Kingsport, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George G. Brown and Bertie Peden Brown; her husband Robert Merrill Dorr; her sons, Mark Peden Dorr, Todd Merrill Dorr and Robert Reid Dorr; and her sisters, Gussie Empson and Anne Bell.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa D. Whitlock (Bruce); her grandchildren, Laura, Emily Whitlock (Trevor Beverly), Robbie and Daniel Dorr (Megan); her daughter-in-law Cathi Dorr; her niece Wynne Empson; and her nephew Jeff Bell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Broad Street United Methodist Church, 100 E Church Circle, Kingsport, TN 37660.
