He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Georgia Elizabeth Elkins Dykes; and his brother Norman Dykes. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Dykes; his siblings, Glen and Brenda; and his adoptive children, Michael and Nedra.
