She is survived by: her daughter Brenda J. Rose (Gary) of Abingdon, Virginia; her daughter-in-law Teresa Rose of Grissom Creek, Virginia; her stepgrandchildren, Gary Allen Johnson (Keisha) of Rosedale and Amy Johnson of Davenport, Virginia; her siblings, Lorene O'Quinn Short (Virginia) of Charlottesville and George Carty of Florida; her sister-in-law Teresa; and her brother Donald. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
