With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gelene Moore Edwards of Kingsport, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gelene Moore Edwards to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Steve and Alberta Moore; and her husband Ralph Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Steven Edwards, Kim Edwards and Carol Hubbard (Jeff); her grandsons, Blake Dingus (Chloe) and Brayden Dingus (Samantha); and her great grandchild Bonnie Ray Dingus. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Gelene' s name, made to the charity of their choice.
