With solemn reverence, we commemorate Georgia Irene Douglas of Kingsport, Tennessee, whose life came to an end on December 30, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Pleasant and Ada McBride Pleasant; her former husband James Willis; her husband Joseph Douglas; her son Jim Willis; her granddaughter Kelly Michelle Summers; and her siblings, Lester, Frank, Harold, Vernon, Kenneth Pleasant, Virginia Lane and Lillie Akens.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Allen; her grandsons, Jason Summers and Eric Summers (Reva); her great grandchild Jacoby Summers; and her sister Patricia Leonard. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oak Hill Memorial Park (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660).
