We announce the death of Gregory D. Lane of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 56. Gregory will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Haskell D. Lane; his grandparents, Jack, Genie Lane, Hubert and Jeanette Brickey Lambert; his sister Cindy Ann Bowders; and his niece Brooke Bowders.
He is survived by: his mother Ann Lane (Lambert) of Kingsport, TN; his stepdaughter Erin Marchand (Philippe) of Alexandria, VA; his sister Ronda Collier (Lane) of Dumfries, VA; his stepmother Becky Lane; his stepsiblings, Wayne Elkins and Dawn Evans (Billy); his uncle Bruce Lane of Fairview, VA; his nieces and nephews, Amanda Yates (Chris), Brittany Maus (Kurtis), Kristin Burns (Gavin) and J. D. Bowders (Libby); and his brothers-in-law, Mitch Bowders and Wayne Collier. He is also survived by eight great-nieces and great-nephews and many extended family members and friends.
