He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Bowen; his parents, Kedrick Bowen and Ivalene Bowen; his siblings, Kathlene Russell and Teddy Bowen; and his niece Tammy Mullins.
He is survived by: his sister Wanda Bowen; his nieces, Hope Bellamy (Wayne) and Kelly Lawson; his great-nephew Jason Bellamy; his close friends, Linda Durham, Judy Miller, Danny, Teresa Livesay, Odie, Donny Rasnic and Dennison; and his brothers, Jim Woods and Lamar Herndon. He is also survived by several other great nieces and great nephews; and several cousins.
