He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Payne and Helen Payne; his wife Jane Payne; and his sister Linda Payne Grizzle. He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Farley; and his brothers, Jerry Payne (Dovie) and Hubert Payne Jr.. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carter-Trent Funeral Home (2060 US-23, Weber City, VA 24290). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peaceful Acres Cemetery.
