Scott (Kingsport, Tennessee), born in Pennington Gap, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 71, on January 10, 2025. In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Lloyd Scott and Virginia Parsons Scott; and his brothers, Ronald Lee Scott and David Scott. He is survived by: his wife Robin Scott; his daughter Rachel Scott of Johnson City, TN; his brother Daniel Scott (Doris) of Ewing, VA; and his sister-in-law Lana Morris of Moultrie, GA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as three great nieces.
