He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dee and Emily Dell Beavers Collins; his wife Leta Mae Fletcher Collins; his daughter Deborah Karen Collins; and his siblings, Willie Collins, Bonnie Harris, Lucille Peters, Hughie Collins, Ralph Collins, Blanard Collins, Virginia Lambert, Goldie Horne and Carl Gene Collins. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
