He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Babb and Sarah Margaret Babb (Dockery); and his grandparents, Orbin and Myrtle Dockery. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Babb; his daughter Marilyn "Rockie" Kern (David); his grandchildren, Rebecca Meade (Peter) and Andrew Kern; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Elijah and Hannah Meade; and his brother Billy Babb.
