He is survived by: his wife Glenda Fulks Cassell of Kingsport, Tennessee; his children, Jerl Cassell, Jr. of Panama City and Karen Lawson of Wise, Virginia; his grandchildren, Justin, Andrew, Steven and Kara; his great grandchildren, Arie, Violet, Evelyn and Valerie; and his brothers, Bobby Cassell (Mary Ann), Ollan Castle and Verl Castle (Alex). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
