He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pete and Annie Jane Adkins Hulse; and his siblings, Rosa Lee Millsap, Orgil Hulse and Kathleen McClure.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Hulse; his children, Kristie Hood (Jim) and Johnny Hulse; his grandson Brandon Hood; his great grandchildren, Hudson and Selah; his sister Frances "Curly" Lawson; and his close friend Donald Jobe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
