John Miller Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Miller of Kingsport, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John David and Stella Thompson Miller; his wife Phyllis Miller; and his siblings, Edith Clark, Evelyn Clark, Elizabeth Trussell, Dorothy Sykes, William Miller, Lloyd Miller, Worley Miller and Ronald Miller.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kristi Rhoten (Greg) and Julie Newland (Sean); his grandsons, Jordan Rhoten (Jordan Leigh) and Jonathan Newland; and his great grandchildren, Heidi and Nolan Rhoten.

Jay was an active member of the Indian Springs Ruritan and was honored to receive "Man of the Year" for his contributions to the community.
