“My dad, Joe Barrett, talked of John Charles so often, I felt I had met him, but never remembered doing so. From my youth & on, dad would brag on his cousin, show off some of his art pieces, & tell stories. Dad's wife, Jeanne, just told me of John's passing. I'm so sorry. Funny how you remember a person at a certain age, & in your mind, they remain that way. I had talked to John a few times on the phone, a few yrs ago, & I am happy to have had those fun, wonderful talks. God Bless”
