He is survived by: his wife Marti Copas; his children, Paige Copas, Nicki Calhoun, Corey Copas, Jason Hammonds (Chelsey) and Braxton Copas; his grandchildren, McKenzie, Daylin, Ava, Madison, Jase, Kinlee, Maci, Cree, Drake and Brynnen; his siblings, Sharon Laws (Andy) and Tony Laws (Teresa); his parents-in-law, Larry and Pat Bass; and his close friends, Kevin and Tammy Lawson. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Free Will Baptist Church of Morrison City (155 E King St, Morrison, TN 37357). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:15 AM and at 11:00 AM.
