With sadness, we share the passing of Joy Ayne Mallory of Kingsport, Tennessee. Joy, born on June 28, 1963 in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on October 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Joy for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Joy’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her father Lynn Frazier. She is survived by: her mother Reba Frazier; her husband Scott Mallory; her son Mason Mallory; her grandson Stone Mallory; and her sisters, Nickie Frazier Mabry and Sherry Pearcy (Barry). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carter-Trent Funeral Home – Kingsport (520 Watauga St, Kingsport, TN 37660).
