She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Haynes and Hazel Haynes; her husband Robert Epps; her brother Joseph Glenn Haynes; and her grandson Christian Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Brooks and Robert Brooks (Michele); her grandchildren, Chris Brooks (Jonna), Caileigh Whitehead (Isaac) and Conner Brooks; and her siblings, Phyllis Hunt, Donna Byrd (Ronald), Martha Cole (Randy) and Michael Haynes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.
A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:50 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the East Lawn Memorial Park (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Bloomingdale Baptist Church Choir Fund.
