He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Dixon and Lakie Dixon of Hiltons, VA.; his foster mother Clarene Addington; and his siblings, Kelly, Paul, Harold Dixon and Annalee Dixon.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jim (Sheila Dixon), Everett (Virginia Dixon), Bobby (Vickie Dixon), Bernice (William Bowen), Linda Flanary, Ruth (Bobby Lane), Violet (Roger Bowen), Maxie (Steve Rhoton), Edith Finkle, Becky Arnold and Judy (R. C. Bowen); and his foster siblings, Ila Beard and Gary Addington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (2904 US Hwy 23 S, Weber City, VA 24290). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
